MSP-Mobile Solar Power
- Item #: 30700
Mobile Solar is the leader in the field of transportable solar generators. These units are reliable, clean, quiet, and economical.
Thanks to many recent advancements in the solar industry, solar generators can now do the work that diesel, gasoline, and propane generators used to do. Fossil-fuel generators can still be used in conjunction with our sun powered generators, but now they play a backup role, for the occasional battery boost.
From our smallest model to the industrial strength of our MS-375, all of our generators supply pure sine-wave current more consistent than that of your utility. On top of this, they do not run out of gas, require oil changes or make any noise!
And since the solar generators are not attached to the ground, they require no permits or inspections, nor will it increase your property taxes.
Whether you are powering a livestock feed sprouter, shearing sheep, running remote radar systems, powering a rural cabin or an offline construction site, you do not have to settle for a noisy, stinky generator that relies on increasingly expensive power sources. We have years of experience working with battery-based photovoltaics and passion for alternative energy sources.

MS-150
MS-150 |
This is our most compact trailer-based solar generator. Designed for the small event, job site or remote living situation, it's the perfect balance of power and transportability. Light enough to be towed behind most 4 or 6-cylinder vehicles and powerful enough to run 3,500 watt loads, the MS-150 is perfect for users with light to medium power needs where cost and size are a concern.
|
The MS-150 can power the Farm Feed Sprouters but may need a small gas power generator to help recharge the batteries from time to time.
MS-200 Series
MS-225 Interior |
These solar generators are powered off larger solar arrays, and some have the option of 120/240 VAC output. The larger 5 ft x 8 ft or 5 ft x 15 ft cargo trailer utilized in the 200-Series adds considerable storage space compared to the smaller units. These larger cargos provide increased axle strength, allowing 200-Series generators to hold a heavy-duty battery bank. The MS-200, MS-225 and the MS-275 can power the Farm Feed Sprouters but may need a small gas power generator to help recharge the batteries from time to time. |

MS-300 Series

This is our heavy-duty line. With trailers up to 20-feet in length and tandem axles capable of carrying very large battery banks, there is little these units can not do. Whether you're running large motors, powering a full size home or in need of keeping moderate AC loads on-line 24/7, the 300-Series is for you. (AC outputs include: 120VAC 60 Hz, 120/240VAC 60 Hz, 240VAC 60 Hz, 120/208VAC 60 Hz, 230VAC 50 Hz, 230/400VAC 50 Hz.) |

Durable
With panels designed to withstand hail one-inch in diameter at 90 mph, industrial-grade forklift batteries and inverters built to standup to rugged conditions, these solar generators will go the distance and perform for decades.
Quiet
Around the construction jobsite, or at a concert or public event, where communication is a matter of safety or listening pleasure, the silent power generation of a solar generator is even more valuable.
A traditional generator must run at all times to provide power, which means that the annoying hum of the internal combustion engine and the output of hazardous gasses such as carbon monoxide are always present.
Reliable
Our solar generators do not rely solely on the Sun. All of our systems can be charged by grid power, or with a traditional generator on those days that the sun does not shine. And with only a handful of moving parts, few things will ever have to be replaced during the units life. The beauty of our solar generators lies in their simplicity.
Affordable
Even though the original cost for a solar generator is higher than some petroleum generators, it will save you money in the long run. These units will last longer, require less maintenance, and do not rely on increasingly expensive fuel.
Fossil fuel generators must also be refilled with fuel frequently, a costly chore, and a difficult one when working in certain locations. On top of this, maintenance costs such as oil and filter changes, and eventually engine overhauls, add to the cost of the produced watt.
