Eco-Emilys GardenThis 16" x 24" x 6" garden with six individual quart size planters allows you to rotate or add new plants as you please. Each planter (filled with geolite growing medium) rests in a pump-aereated nutrient solution. Your plants absorb food and water as they need it. Fresh air bubbled through the nutrient provides the high oxygen level needed for robust growth. Pour in a little nutrient and water every week, and thats it!
You will have success growing herbs and leafy greens in this system. Paired with a 400 watt light or a 2 foot Jump Start Fluorescent Light System, you can have an attractive and easy to care for indoor garden. |

Emily's Garden Assembly Instructions
Sprouting Seeds & Planting Seedings
- Dip starter cubes into water to completely saturate them
- Place one or two seeds directly into each starter cube
- Keep starter cubes ligtly moistened, in a propagation tray, until white roots begin to sprout
- To plant your starter cube: place the base of the cube should be in contact with the moisture mat, then fill in around the cube with aggregate
- To plant a seedling, place the seedling (with roots and planting medium intact) so that it touches the moisture mat. Gently pour aggregate around the seeding to fill in
Nutrient Solution Schedule
- Initially premix 2 gallons of nutrient solution at 1 teaspoon per gallon of water
- Pour it down through the planters filling the reservoir to the fill level notch
- Run the pump 24 hours per day
- Maintain the nutrient solution at about 2 - 2.5 inches deep in the tray. NO DEEPER
- Add new nutrient solution as needed, premixed at 1 teaspoon per gallon of water
